Blogger Series: Tips for starting your own creative business

Today we are introducing a super exciting new series on the blog, where we will be sharing lots of amazing tips on how to start your own creative business. But it's a series with a difference! We have teamed up with 7 other South African women who already run their own creative businesses (and blogs), and together we are going to bring you a hugely exciting, daily blog collaboration series. Together, we'll be delving into nine different topics and sharing tips about doing what we love!

Are you excited? 'Cause we are!

If you dream of starting your own creative business, but have no idea about where to begin, just remember that we were in the exact same positions that you are in - and now we are going to give you tips on how to get started!

We started Ruby+Swallow in 2012, and looking back, it has been one of the most exciting times of our lives - with so many learning curves along the way. Ruby+Swallow started as both a business and a blog, and we are so proud of where we are now. We are by no means experts... and while we do have a lot of 'tips' to share that we've learnt through our journey, we are still very humbled by the fact that there is still SO much to learn in running a business.
